Photopages from metalbook

At the outset, wish you all a very happy new year. Hope its going fine with all of you, you see I had put in a personalized word with 2013.

In yet an other attempt to explore the lesser explored side of me, I have decided to post under a new series of posts I've decided to call 'Photo-pages from metalbook'. As a part of it, fortunately or more fortunately this blog will now have a few pictures that i deem fit to post here. Disclaimer: I am not a pro, nor do I want to be one at this point in time. All pictures posted here are purely the output of my efforts, interests and moods. However, you as a reader have all the liberty to convey your feelings thoughts on the same.

First of hopefully many to come are a few pictures of some commonly sighted birds and animals, in and around the forest range of K Gudi near Biligiri Ranagana Betta, commonly known as BR Hills.

Pond Heron
Rufous Treepie

Indian Gaur
Crested Serpent Eagle
Kingfisher - Need I say anything!!!
To spot a leopard, that too within first 10 minutes of a safari doesn't always happen .
First time, I actually saw a mongoose this close and I say it's rather cute.
